Veritas Investments Los Angeles’ (“VILA”) is a technology-enabled real estate investment and management company focused on operating mixed-use multifamily properties in LA’s most desirable neighborhoods.
Our extensive in-house experience and proprietary technology allow us to identify, invest and operate distinctive properties in pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods. We then apply our pioneering strategy to sustainably improve and enhance apartment communities that have often experienced under investment. By creating inspiring homes for our residents and improving our communities, VILA aims to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns for our investors.
We are focused on moving quickly to capitalize on emerging investment opportunities and executing efficiently on strategy–with tight controls every step of the way–to deliver superior financial performance to investors and an exceptional living experience for our residents.
With tools and features specific to the needs of operators of smaller apartment communities, VILA’s technology platform enables the company to provide exceptional digital amenities and customer service to residents, sustainably preserve and increase housing stock in supply-constrained markets, and deliver competitive returns for investors.
History
Since 2018, VILA has operated as an affiliate of Veritas Investments, Inc., an established multifamily and retail investment company based in San Francisco.
Veritas Investments’ history dates back nearly 20 years. The firm grew out of the initial property investments made by Founder and Chief Executive Officer Yat-Pang Au. Inspired by the innovation of Silicon Valley and sparked by the entrepreneurial spirit of Mr. Au, Veritas developed a differentiated real estate strategy and built a customized, proprietary technology stack that enabled it to grow into the Los Angeles market.
